Beverley Saturday Market
Welcome to Beverley Saturday Market
A council operated market with a variety of stallholders for local produce, craft and every day items.
The beautiful market town of Beverley, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, is steeped in history.
With its stunning Minster, ancient buildings, cobbled streets, and up-market shops, the town is a popular destination for both tourists and local residents. Beverley is a thriving retail, leisure and business centre, with a number of specialist and boutique shops, quality restaurants and cafes, and historic pubs, all complimenting the market.
The architecturally fascinating streets, divided by the 15th century North Bar, contain a great number of listed buildings.
Having been granted a royal charter by King Henry I in 1128, Beverley’s famous market dates back centuries and is a vital part of community life.
There are more than 120 stalls on the market, with traders coming as far afield as Manchester, Nottingham and Lincolnshire to sell their wares within sight of the impressive St. Mary’s Church and Market Cross. Some more traditional traders have been coming to the market for decades, while other newcomers cater for the latest trends in food and gifts.
At Beverley Saturday market there is a vibrant mix of stalls and a friendly atmosphere with market traders selling an array of fresh and artisan foodie treats. Other products also available include home baked goods, specialty cheeses, cakes and confectionary and coffee direct from the roastery. But, it's not all about food!. Once your appetite has been satisfied, there are craft items, clothing and even taps!. In fact at Beverley Saturday market, there really is something for everyone, so come and join us this Saturday.
