As you will be aware, the situation with COVID-19 is constantly changing and it could affect our ability to deliver services in the coming weeks and months.
Following the Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England's guidance to avoid non-essential contact with others, with the health of our customers as our priority, we have taken the decision to cancel with immediate effect all Library, Museum and Archives groups, events and activities until the end of May.
Libraries including the mobile library service are now closed until further notice.
Multi-Service Centres and Customer Service Centres will remain open for customers requiring urgent council services only.
Library and council services will continue to be available online and via telephone on (01482) 393939.
Fines will not be charged during the closure period.
All East Riding Museums are now closed until further notice. This includes East Riding Museum and Beverley Art Gallery in the Treasure House, Beverley Guildhall, Skidby Mill and Goole Museum. Parts of our museums service can still be found online
East Riding Archives is now closed until further notice. Parts of our archives service can still be found online
All countryside events are cancelled, however all areas will remain open to the public.
